Sangrur: Two persons were on Tuesday arrested by police on charges of cow slaughtering in Sangrur district. Police said that the two were a part of a six-member gang.

SSP Sangrur, Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that police have arrested two persons in this regard and both the accused have confessed to their crime during interrogation.
A case of cow slaughtering and hurting religious sentiments of a particular community has been registered against them, he said.
