Rahman's new Chennai concert to feature 10 fresh faces

The seasons has a new buzz . It is AR Rahman's concert in Chennai that begins on the 29th of December.

Titled 'Thai Manne Vanakkam' the concert is organized at the Nehru Indoor Stadium and will be telecasted by a major television channel. As a part of the program, the organizers are planning to conduct a talent hunt and pick out five winners to perform during the show with ARR himself.

When asked more about the event on board the host confirmed "We have conducted auditions in Trichy, Coimbatore and Madurai. We have short listed 40 contestants so far. Ten singers will be given a chance to rock the stage with the maestro. The contestants are below 15 years of age. It will be a golden opportunity for the kids to perform with the legendary musician."

This might be a great chance for young and talented singers to showcase their skills and get picked by ARR for his concerts in the future. So if luck supports, they could just become the next Karthik or Naresh Iyer.
