BELGAUM: Expressing resentment at the comments of MNS chief Raj Thackeray over the Karntaka-Maharashtra border dispute, protesters here burnt his effigy on Wednesday. The residents of Patil Galli along with members of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Yuvak Mandal carried out ‘last rites’ to an effigy of Thackeray as per Hindu tradition.
