Rani Mukerji wears red bangles, vermillion on forehead for her first public appearance post wedding

Rani Mukerji looked like perfect new bride, dressed in all red at the store launch of YRF's clothing line 'Diva'ni' on Thursday night. The actress who got married to filmmaker Aditya Chopra in April after years of hush-hush courtship, flaunted her newly married status to the tee. She was seen wearing red bangles- a typical of newly married Punjabi brides, vermillion on her forehead, a huge solitaire ring and even the 'shankha-pola' (red and white bangles) which is symbolic to married women in Bengal. Rani happily posed for pictures with her mother-in-law, Pam Chopra at the event. Incidentally, the first look of Rani's new film 'Mardaani' was also launched on the same day across various social networking sites.
