Robbers strike at SBI

ROURKELA: Armed miscreants on Tuesday looted around Rs 2 lakh from Bimlagarh branch of the SBI, about 65 km from here, under the K Balang police limits in the Maoist-infested Bonai sub-division of Sundargarh district.  Reports said three miscreants entered the branch between 3.30 pm and 4 pm and held the bank staff hostage at gunpoint. They decamped with the cash at the counters. Confirming the loot, Rourkela SP Himanshu Lal said all escape routes had been sealed and a manhunt launched to nab the miscreants.
