Rowdies, aides held

BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Organised Crime Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested two notorious rowdies along with their associates in separate incidents, when they were allegedly waiting to kill their opponent gang members.Rowdy V K Praveena alias Malayali Praveena (39) of Sampangiramanagar was arrested along with three of his aides when they were waiting to kill Thirumaran alias Raja, the elder brother of Praveena’s opponent Garden Kutty. The police have recovered a country made revolver, a country made pistol, 12 live bullets and other weopons. Four-wheelers, cash and other goods worth Rs 40 lakh have also been seized.Meanwhile, Seetharaman alias Chamaraj (40) of Rachenahalli and his three associates were arrested when they were allegedly waiting to attack rowdy Kavala. Two revolvers and 12 live bullets were recovered from them.
