Rs 12L missing from Temple sanctum

TIRUPUR: An amount of around Rs 12 lakh was reported missing from a temple near Tirupur on Thursday.According to police sources, administrators of the Sivan Veeramathi Amman temple at Jainagar were to buy land for which around `12 lakh was donated by the public and kept in the sanctum.Ravi (28), a local priest entrusted with temple maintenance informed administrators that the money was missing. Tirupur rural police registered a case and launched an investigation
