HYDERABAD: The APSRTC has started cracking the whip on the contract staff taking part in strike by terminating the services of 675 drivers and 680 conductors. It has also invited fresh applications for contract jobs in the corporation.
The action was taken against contract employees in Karimnagar, Adilabad, Khammam, Warangal and Nizamabad districts.In the same breadth, the management has offered to regularise their services if they report to duty immediately.Cases Booked Against Five T Advocates Cases have been registered against five advocates for trying to disrupt the proceedings at the Secunderabad court.According to Mahankali assistant commissioner of police G P Vasusena, cases were booked against the lawyers after they tried to prevent some employees from attending to work. The advocates also broke some glasses on the court premises and disrupted the functioning of the court. Following a complaint by court authorities, police booked five lawyers.
