Moscow: Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has agreed to participate in a documentary film about a day in his life.

Putin was approached for the documentary while visiting the Seliger youth camp, in Russia's Tver region. The request was made by a young TV journalist working on the camp channel.

"Ok," Putin said, shrugging his shoulders. He added that they should agree on a date to film.

The camp is organised by Russia's federal agency for youth affairs and the pro-Kremlin youth movement, Nashi (Ours).

Putin also approved a 2.5 billion-rubles ($90 mn) restructuring project for Seliger. The new camp will be able to accommodate 20,000 people a month and will operate throughout the summer.
