Sambalpur Varsity gets new V-C

BHUBANESWAR: Prof Bishnu Charan Barik was on Thursday appointed  the new Vice- Chancellor of Sambalpur University. He is currently serving as Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences of Swami Teerth Marathwada University in Nanded, Maharashtra. Prof Barik will hold office for three years from the date he assumes office or until further orders. Prof Barik has published a number of national and international publications and his works have been widely appreciated too.
