The state government has declared 2-day holiday on Sept 30 and Oct 1 in view of the Ayodhya verdict.
Bangalore: Karnataka government on Tuesday declared a two-day holiday for schools and colleges on September 30 and October 1 in view of the Allahabad court's scheduled pronouncement of verdict on Ayodhya title suit dispute on Thursday.
This has been done as a precautionary step, official sources said.
With the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissing a petition for deferring the verdict, the Allahabad High Court will deliver its verdict on the 60-year-old Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit on Thursday.
