New Delhi: Actress Shweta Menon's movie Kalimannu has been making headlines for its unique theme. If the reports are anything to go by, Kalimannu will get a Tamil remake! The remake will include the title Uyirin Osai. Interestingly, Shweta will also play the female lead in the remake version.
The popular Malayalam drama, which was written and directed by Blessy, was inspired by the Puranic story of Abhimanyu and his mother Subhadra. The film revolves around the relationship of the protagonist with her baby, before and after his birth. The film also featured Swetha Menon's real-life delivery.
