CUTTACK: Miscreants took away a gold chain from an employee of the State police at Chauliaganj on Monday. The incident took place at around 10.30 am in the middle of the busy thoroughfare.According to reports, Nirajalaxmi Patnai, who works as a steno at the Directorate of State Vigilance, was on her way to office when the miscreants targeted her. She was riding a scooter from her quarters at Andarpur Vigilance Colony.Police said about two miscreants closed in on her near the BSNL office at Chauliaganj and snatched the gold chain from her neck before speeding away on a bike. A case has been registered and hunt for the miscreants is on.
