BANGALORE: Minister for Higher Education V S Acharya on Thursday said that the government would file a writ petition challenging the Court's direction to increase the retirement age of lecturers and professors appointed on UGC scales to 65 years.
Acharya said that the HC division bench would be moved with a writ petition. "Retirement age of lecturers and professors, who are government employees, cannot be increased in isolation."
