New Delhi: RJD chief Lalu Prasad's daughter Raj Laxmi and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grand-nephew Tej Pratap Singh will tie the knot on Thursday in New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had attended the 'Tilak' ceremony of Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap Singh in Saifai, the native village of Mulayam. Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan had also attended the pre-wedding ceremony on February 21.
The wedding is expected to further cement the strong ties between the two political families.
A staggering 1,00,000 invites were sent to relatives, politicians, village folk, journalists, judges and celebrities from other fields.
