Support anti-Lanka resolution

CHENNAI: Former Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Chief Kumari Anandan has urged the Centre to back the resolution moved against Sri Lanka at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).In a press release, Kumari Anandan noted that the res-olution had been moved with regard to the war crimes and the human rights violations reported in the island nation. “Trying Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse for the war crimes and supporting the resolution calling for the implementation of the recommendations of the Lessons Learned and Reconciliation Commission should be motto of the Indian government,” he said.
