Karthik Subbaraj's latest thriller 'Pizza', starring Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan, is up for a grand release on October 19th all across Tamil Nadu by Sangam cinemas. The film boasts of 7.1 surround sound cinema experience, in Kollywood for the first time. And the talented trio behind the soundscape of 'Pizza' include Vishnu Govind, Sree Sankar and Raja Krishnan.

Feeling quite upbeat over these sound engineers' remarkable work, Producer CV Kumar of Thiru Kumaran Entertainment (maiden venture 'Attakathi') said, "Rather than using readily available sounds in the library, they painstakingly recorded each and every sound required for the film. They have gone miles to get the realistic sound necessary to accentuate the thriller. The detailing is extraordinary."

While Sree Sankar remarked, "Distinct Audio is presented from 7 locations in the theatre and the sound just encircles the audience!"

"The sound moves around the audience, just like the 3D does for visuals. If the character rides from Right-back to Left-front, you can hear the bike moving and crossing you the same way. Not only can voices now be heard behind you, they can be heard coming from behind you to your right or left, just as sounds from the front and sides," added Vishnu Govind.

On the other hand the director stated, "With 7.1 surround, it gives the audience an extra depth to experience. It gets more real."

Gopi Amarnath is the cinematographer of 'Pizza' and Leo John Paul has edited the film, while music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
