Tanzanian girl assaulted in Bengaluru doesn't want to leave India: Envoy
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara told mediapersons that the government has ordered an inquiry into the attack.

The Tanzanian envoy to India has demanded strict action against those involved in the attack on 21-year-old student. Speaking to CNN-IBN, the Tanzanian envoy said that the victim had not said anything about leaving India yet.

The official also said that it would wrong to label India a racist nation due to the incident, adding that only some people in the country have that attitude.

He has also said that all assistance is being provided to the victim.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara told mediapersons that the government has ordered an inquiry into the attack. A case has been registered against the mob as well as the Sudanese student, who escaped after an accident.

This comes even as another arrest has been made in the case, bringing the total number of arrest to five. According to sources, some other people are being questioned in the case.

The 21-year-old woman from Tanzania studying in Bengaluru was allegedly assaulted, stripped and paraded naked by an angry mob in the outskirts of the city on Sunday night.
