Karimnagar: In a shocking incident, a 9-year-old girl died after she was punished for not doing her homework. Agitated family and students unions ransacked the school after the incident. No official complaint has been registered in the case so far.
The incident took place at a school in Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh. The child was made to kneel down for several hours on the July 16 by a teacher for not doing her homework.
She collapsed after developing a blood clot which affected her circulation. She succumbed to her injuries on Thursday morning.
