TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao would intensify the Telangana movement to force the Centre to concede the demand for a separate state, party MLA T Harish Rao said here on Sunday.
Addressing a large group of activists of different political parties from Shamirpet mandal in Rangareddy district who joined the TRS, he said he was confident that the TRS would achieve statehood for the region.
Harish Rao TRS had become synonymous with Telangana and there was no place for any other policial party in the region.
“Telangana movement is spread all over Telangana districts and the TRS is getting tremendous response even in southern Telangana. After the 2009 general election Telangana has witnessed 20 byelections, all of which have been won by the TRS. The Congress has lost deposits in 10 Assembly constituencies and the TDP in 15. The two parties were confined to the second and third places.'
