Temple kalasam found in garden

BODI: A temple kalasam worth Rs 30,000 was found abandoned in a garden near Bodi on Monday. Police who seized the pinnacle are conducting inquiries.Veerumallammal temple is situated along the Bodi-Silamalai Rani Mangammal Road. Silamalai VAO Vignesh received information that a mysterious parcel wrapped in green cloth was lying to the east of the temple. He informed the Bodi rural police and a team i proceeded to the village. When the bundle was unwrapped, it was found to contain a temple pinnacle. The police believe that this could be the work of thieves.
