TGV to write to Centre on Rayala Telangana

KURNOOL: Minor irrigation minister TG Venkatesh said that he would write a letter to the Centre to know about the veracity in TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao’s statement that the central government was planning to include Kurnool and Anantapur districts of Rayalaseema in Telangana and carve out ‘Rayala Telangana’.Speaking to newsmen, he urged people not to believe in any statements by political leaders in such a critical situation.He urged the Centre to take a decision in accordance with people’s wish. “Being the convener of Rayalaseema Hakkula Aikya Vedika, I would make my stand clear only after collecting public opinion,” he added.
