Bangalore: Rahul 'Wall' Dravid peeps out from the wall of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, thanks to a mural by his mother Pushpa Dravid which was unveiled by the Karnataka State Cricket Association.

Ms Dravid's passion for cricket is already well known and the proud mother placed her son along with ace leggie Anil Kumble and former cricketers Javagal Srinath, Gundappa Vishwanath, E A S Prasanna, Syed Kirmani and Brijesh Patel in the mural.

The huge fibreglass mural with terracotta images was unveiled on Sunday evening at a glittering function marked to felicitate Dravid and Kumble on crossing a major milestone of 100 Tests.

It was this Chinnaswamy Stadium that saw Rahul Dravid maturing as 'the wall' of Indian cricket.

Ms Dravid later said it took her nearly six months to complete the work.
