HYDERABAD: An auto trolley driver, who met with an accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) more than two weeks ago, succumbed to injuries here on Saturday.
According to police, villagers of Pedda Golconda village hired an auto trolley belonging to M Krishna (45), to transport the idol to their village. "Around 4.30 am on September 1, Krishna is suspected to have lost control over the vehicle, rammed it into a roadside railing. Krishna suffered severe injuries and succumbed on Saturday," police said. In another mishap, a head constable of Ibrahimpatnam police station, N Manik Prabhu, was killed after his twowheeler was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle on Friday. In another accident, a 30yearold onion merchant, K Bheemamma of Kurnool, was killed after the vehicle in which she was travelling was hit by another van at Rangapur.
