Tiff over pet leads to murder

VIZIANAGARAM: A 50-year-old man was killed by his neighbour for beating the latter’s pet dog at S Kota village in the district on Monday.Police said, Oduri Ramu and D Veeraraju were neighbours at SC colony of S Kota for the past few years.Veeraraju’s pet dog went to Ramu’s home on Monday following which an enraged Ramu had beaten it. A heated argument ensued between Ramu and Veeraraju which ended in Veeraraju hitting Ramu against the wall. Veeraraju fled after he saw Ramu severely injured.Police admitted Ramu to the hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
