BERHAMPUR: With the recovery of a tiffin box bomb at Ganjam-Kandhamal border on Saturday night, high alert has been sounded in the area.Reports said a CRPF patrol team found a place covered with fresh soil along the Gajalbadi-Ramanabadi in Soroda block. The anti-landmine squad reached the spot and recovered a tiffin box bomb, a detonator and fuse wire of around 10 meters. The seized explosives weighed five kg.The spot is hardly 7 km from the Gajalbadi CRPF camp and the recovery is the fourth one in the area.Meanwhile, panic gripped Daringibadi block in Kandhamal district after Maoist posters surfaced. The posters found at Kerubadi under Bhrarabadi panchayat bore names of eight persons of the area. While the posters read sentence for four, Rajat Nayak, Dibakar Nayak, Benit Nayak, Rammohon Nayak, the remaining four, suspected police informers, have been asked to appear before the Praja Court. They are Kabiraj Nayak, Jagadish Nayak, Premananda Nayak and Leberio Nayak.
