HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has extended the time for renewal of trade licences till July 24.

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has extended the time for renewal of trade licences till July 24.GHMC additional commissioner, Health and Sanitation, Aleem Basha asked the traders in GHMC limits to renew their trade licences for 2011-2012 in any e-Seva or Citizens Service Centres (CSCs) in the city. Those who would renew their trade licences between July 25 and September 24 and from September 25 will have to pay a penalty of 25 per cent and 50 per cent respectively, of the trade licence fee along with the original licence fee, in order to get a new licence. After penalty period, the GHMC reserves the right to close down unlicenced establishments in the city, Basha said. Traders can get their trade licence certificate from the nearest CSCs or e-Seva centres by submission of their payment receipt number. The trades who have interim orders from the Andhra Pradesh High Court on bulk garbage charges should approach the joint commissioner (H&S) at the GHMC head office at Tank Bund to pay their trade licence fee.
