HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam MLAs from Telangana will tour their respective Assembly constituencies for five days from Monday in support of the Sakala Janula Samme. Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) convener E Dayakar Rao said here on Sunday that their agitation for Telangana would continue even if the Sakala Janula Samme was called off by the government employees.“We will vigorously participate in the movement,” he said.Party MLAs, constituency in-charges and workers will tour constituencies and organise bicycle rallies and motorcycle rallies there. When TRS activists attacked a TDP bus yatra to Banswada recently, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu directed his party leaders to tour the region without fear, saying the TDP cadre base was intact and strong in the region.Naidu hinted that he would also tour the region after concluding his scheduled programmes in coastal Andhra. He has toured Nellore, Prakasam and Anantapur districts, and is scheduled to tour Guntur and other districts in coastal Andhra.Later, he will focus on Telangana to expose the ‘nexus’ between the TRS and the Congress.TDP’S STAND: According to a TTDFleader, Naidu will spell out his party’s stand if the All India Congress Committee announces its stand on separate Telangana.Speaking to reporters, TDP MLA Motkupalli Narsimhulu found fault with the TRS and TJAC for going to Delhi without consulting others.“Why has KCR taken only TRS leaders along with him to Delhi and what is his understanding with the Congress? TRS is not the sole representative of Telangana people.Such dramas will not help the cause.Only resignations by MLAs of all parties en masse can bring pressure on the Centre,’’ he said.Dayakar Rao accused the TRS chief of forcibly admitting TDP MLAs into the TRS.“Will Telangana state come into being if all the TDP MLAs join the TRS?” Rao wondered in sarcasm.
