Vasan visits Cochin Shipyard

KOCHI: Union Shipping Minister G K Vasan visited the Cochin Shipyard on Friday and held discussion with the its chairman and managing director Commodore K Subramaniam.The Minister reviewed the ongoing projects of the Shipyard, including the construction of the indigenous aircraft carrier for the Indian Navy. “The discussion on development projects included feasibility of developing another shipyard in Kerala. Poovar or Vizhinjam in Thiruvananthapuram district are the locations identified for the new shipyard,” Subramaniam said
