Vikram Chahuhan appears before Delhi Police in court violence case
Chauhan appeared before the Delhi Police at the Tilak Marg police station on Wednesday after repeatedly defying police summons.

Almost a week since lawyers attacked Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students and journalists at Patiala House Court, one of the accused, Vikram Chauhan, appeared before Delhi Police on Wednesday.

Chauhan appeared before the Delhi Police at the Tilak Marg police station on Wednesday after repeatedly defying police summons.

Notably, Chauhan has defied police summons on earlier occasions.

The bar council president had said that while a police case was underway against Vikram Chauhan and others, they were mulling action against them condemning their conduct at the Patiala House Court.

This comes a day after another lawyer, Yashpal Singh, was arrested and then released on bail.

Singh was charged for rioting, unlawful assembly and voluntarily causing hurt, incidentally all bailable charges.

What's your reaction?
