Web designing firm head held for visa fraud

HYDERABAD: The state capital appears to becoming a safe haven for the visa fraudsters with number of consultancies, cyber cafes and individuals involved in making fake and forged documents for securing different kind of visas.Barely a week after, a visa consultancy in Abids was apprehended for preparing forged documents for securing visas, the Task Force police on Wednesday arrested two persons including a managing director of a web designing firm in connection with another visa fraud.Police seized four original passports, 27 rounds of seals and stamps of various companies and forged documents including bank statements, IT Returns, experience certificates, salary slips, appointment letters, empty letters heads of various companies and a laptop from them.According to Task Force sleuths, on a tip off, they arrested Hari Krishna Reddy (37), managing director of Enrise System Pvt. Ltd., Lingampalli and his customer Majid Ali, a resident of Malakpet for preparing of fake and forged documents, to be produced at time of interview for obtaining visa.Task Force additional deputy commissioner of police Suhas Chaturvedi said Hari Krishna Reddy runs two web designing companies-- Enrise System Pvt. Ltd. at Lingampalli and Stillwater Commerce at Hyderguda.Reddy started visa processing work in 2001 to make easy bucks.“Reddy used to prepare forged certificates, bank statements, IT returns. He would collect Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 for preparing the fake documents and Rs 2 lakh to Rs 3 lakh after issuance of visas,” the additional DCP said.Majid Ali, who returned from Riyadh and wanted to go to the USA, got the necessary documents prepared by Reddy.
