Will file an IA in SC on Mining, says Hiremath

Samaj Parivartana Samudaya will file a comprehensive Interlocutory Application (IA) in the Supreme Court to bring pending matters on illegal mining to a logical conclusion, said National Committee for Protection of Natural Resources (NCPNR) founder president S R Hiremath.

Hiremath told reporters here on Monday that he has appealed to Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar to remove tainted MLA G Somashekara Reddy from his party and from the post of chairman of Karnataka Milk Federations as the latter has had been named in the FIR registered by the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Andhra Pradesh in the cash-for-bail scam.  Hiremath said that they will hold a mega Satyagraha on August 9 in Bellary and submit a memorandum to the PM and CM.
