BANGALORE: IDP Education India, the student placement company in the world is organising an education fair for the students in the city aspiring to pursue higher education in the US and Canada.  To be held at Hotel Le Meridian on Saturday, October 1, the fair will bring together prominent US and Canadian institutions under one roof. Speaking about the initiative, Harmeet Pental, Regional Director South Asia, IDP Education said, “Indian students have long been keen on education in the US and Canada. The right direction and assistance however become crucial for them to opt for the suitable course and university. IDP recognises the need and provides an all-inclusive platform with an opportunity to interact with the university representatives directly and facilitating exchange of information.” The fairs highlights include quick application turn-around time and on-spot comprehensive and personalized education counseling and application fee waiver. The students can apply to over 300 universities for January and September 2012 intakes. All pre-registered and qualified students also get a 100% admission processing fee waiver.  Fifteen US and Canadian institutions are participating in the nationwide fairs that will take place in September concluding in Chennai. The fairs are a free platform for all students to gauge their prospects of studying at United States of America and Canada.
