Woman killed in road mishap

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was killed when the motorbike, she was pillion-riding, collided with a KSRTC bus near Chavarcode, Varkala, on Tuesday evening. Varkala police have identified the deceased as Saleena, 36, hailing from Palayamkunnu.  Her husband, who was riding the bike, sustained injuries and was admitted to the Chirayinkeezh hospital.The body of Saleena is kept in the mortuary of the hospital.
