BANGALORE: In a tragic incident, a HR manager’s wife killed her 11-month-old daughter before ending her life by hanging along with her other three-year-old daughter.The incident took place in Kamakya Layout 6th Main in Chennammanakere Achchukattu police station limits on Sunday evening.The reason for the incident is yet to be ascertained.The deceased have been identified as Gayatri (30), Mayika (3) and 11-monthold Vibha.Gayatri was married to Balaji, who was working as a HR Manager at private firm in Rajajinagar, for six years.According to the police, the company in which Balaji was working was closed three months ago and after that he was in search of another job.On Sunday afternoon, he had gone out and returned late in the evening.As his wife did not open the door, he collected another set of key from the house owner, who lives in the adjacent building.He opened the door to find his wife and Mayika hanging from the ceiling fan of the drawing room with a single rope.Much to his shock, he found Vibha’s body that was drowned in a tub.“It is suspected that Gayatri first killed Vibha by putting her inside the tub filled with water.Later, she hanged with Mayika.Before taking the extreme step, Gayatri has written a note stating that no one was responsible for their deaths,” the police added.It is suspected that the family was in deep financial trouble after Balaji lost his job and that could have driven Gayatri to take the extreme step.Meanwhile, a neighbour, pleading anonymity, informed that the couple were residing in the area since six years.“ The couple shared a cordial relationship and they did not had any major problem,” he said.
