The Nelamangala police have arrested four more persons in connection with the murder of Bangalore Rural Zilla Panchayat’s JD(S) member Binnamangala Krishnappa.
With this, the number of persons arrested in this case has gone up to 19.
The arrested persons are identified as Perla Prakash Gowda, 20, of Theerthahalli in Shimoga, Manjunath, 23, of Motaganahalli in Magadi Road, N S Madhu, 27, of Shravana Belagola and Satish, 23, of M G Road in Nelamangala.
Police said acting on the information given by various sources, the four were arrested near Kengeri and produced before court on Monday.
The police are still on the lookout for Betthanagere Seena, said to be the kingpin of the murder.
