The anime adaptation of the South Korean web novel, Solo Leveling, is nearing the end of its debut season, and fans are eagerly awaiting the final episodes. Atsushi Kaneko, the animation producer behind the series, recently sat down for an interview with Animate Times to tease what’s to come in the remaining episodes of the season.
Solo Leveling has become one of the standout anime of the Winter 2024 season, adapting Chugong and DUBU’s original webcomic. While there is a wealth of material to cover from the source material, the first season is currently set for a single course run of 12 episodes, meaning fans should prepare for the season finale.

Kaneko spilled the beans to the news outlet, saying he wants viewers to buckle up not just for the scorching action scenes, but also to witness Sung’s evolution through the nail-biting encounters, emotional farewells and epic battles with formidable foes that lie ahead. While he couldn’t reveal too much about the future episodes, Kaneko expressed hope that fans will appreciate the passion and dedication of the staff in each episode leading up to Episode 7.
