Mumbai: Out of the many lanes in Khetwadi, the 12th lane's Mandal is the most popular. In its 25th year, the managing committee has set up a huge Pandal on the 12th lane and an equally big Ganpati.
The sight of the Pandal is very intriguing and certainly makes a must visit place during the 10-day long Ganpati festival.
There were over 100 devotees in the afternoon and almost everyone there had come to see the Pandal, as this place has won several accolades during the previous years. And apparently this is there 25th year.
"We have come here for sightseeing. The 12 lane Ganpati at Khetwadi is very famous and we wanted to see the decoration here", said Mandar, a localite visiting the Pandal.
The crowd is expected to me more during the weekend and people from suburbs come in large numbers to visit these places.
