In the month of Shravan, there are a lot of religious programs in Shiva temples. On the other hand, the markets are bustling with shops selling Rakhis. This time the festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on 19th August. The special thing is that this time there is a lot of craze for the sale of Khatushyamji and Radhe-Krishna Rakhis. Along with this, there is also a lot of demand for Rakhis from Delhi and Kolkata.
In the areas around Badi Chaupar, also known as Manak Chowk, in Jaipur, 100 to 200 types of unique and good-looking rakhis are available wholesale in the shops.
