ADOR's Min Hee Jin Claims HYBE 'Betrayed Her' By Debuting LE SSERAFIM Before NewJeans
Following HYBE's audit of ADOR and its CEO, a heated rift has started making headlines between the parent company and the subsidiary.

The ongoing power struggle between HYBE Corporation and its subsidiaries continues to make headlines. Shortly after HYBE released a shocking audit report, implicating CEO Min Hee Jin of trying to take over the label’s management to make ADOR an independent entity, Hee Jin made a counter-attack by levelling allegations of plagiarism against the parent company. While the row continues to stir controversy, Min Hee Jin while addressing a press conference made a few other shocking remarks against HYBE.

This came in the wake of HYBE’s claim to report her to the police for breach of trust after announcing that it found “solid evidence” against Min of conspiring against the company.

During her conversation with the media, Min Hee Jin shared that she feels “betrayed.” Referring to the fellow HYBE subsidiary LE SSERAFIM, which debuted a few months before NewJeans, she said, “NewJeans members came to HYBE with only the thought of debuting as HYBE’s first girl group. They felt betrayed when LE SSERAFIM debuted first. The members’ parents were also angered by this.”

‘HYBE’s claims are propaganda’: ADOR CEO

Speaking directly about her relationship with HYBE, Min also reacted to the claims that she is trying to take over the management at ADOR.

“My angle and HYBE’s angle are different. Their claim that I tried to usurp management rights is matador (black propaganda). I have never tried to usurp the rights of ADOR. I am a salary-paid CEO,” she said.

Explaining further, Hee Jin also said that she cannot take over the management rights when HYBE owns around 80 per cent of ADOR’s shares. She also called out the parent company and turned the claims around, further adding that it wasn’t her but them who betrayed her.

During the press conference, Min Hee Jin also responded to the media’s questions about the recent allegations of leaking contracts against her. Claiming that there was a “hidden intention” behind what was happening, she said, “How can a legitimate protest to protect NewJeans’ achievements be an act of usurping ADOR’s management rights? There seems to be some hidden intention that I cannot understand here.”

Meanwhile, as the rift between both sides only gets heated, it is yet to be seen how the legalities proceed.
