The much-awaited Tamil film Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, will hit the theatres sometime this year. A new poster featuring the lead pair was released on Friday, which led to fans calling the two a “vintage couple.”
In the adorable poster, Ajith is seen standing behind Trisha, leaning on her chair. The two actors are smiling in the poster. Trisha also shared the poster on her X with a star and evil eye emojis.

The producers of the film, Lyca Productions, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the poster, writing, “Adding a touch of fondness! Presenting the third look of #VidaaMuyarchi. Witness the Vintage pair #AjithKumar & @trishtrashers #EffortsNeverFail. Perseverance Triumphs.”
Ajith and Trisha had previously starred in films like Ji, Kireedam, Yennai Arindhaal and Mankatha. So, fans were excited to see the two working together again. One fan commented on X, “Lovely Poster Trisha x AK.” Another wrote, “Vintage Thala.” One enthused, “Vintage THALA IS BACK.” A fan commented, “Yeah definitely a vintage couple…” while another called them an “EverGreen Classic onscreen couple”.
Last month, Ajith’s first look from Vidaamuyarchi was released. In the poster, the actor is seen walking in a sleek black ensemble in the middle of a long winding road. There is also a hint of a hilly terrain. He is also seen carrying a duffel bag in his hands.
Dubbed as an action survival, Vidaamuyarchi will feature Ajith Kumar in a whole new avatar. On June 30, the makers finally shared the first look poster, which was being awaited eagerly by the impatient fans. The brand-new poster was shared by Suresh Chandra, Ajith Kumar’s manager, on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The film is produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions. Vidaamuyarchi marks the first collaboration between director Magizh Thirumeni and the Mankatha actor. Also, the film features a star-studded cast including Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Arav and many others.
