Starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, War 2 is one of the biggest releases of 2025. The film is currently under production and fans have been waiting with bated breath for updates about the progress of the film. Amidst this, a recent report has revealed that the actors are currently gearing up for the climax action sequence which is set to be one of the most high-octane action sequences in recent times.
As reported by Pinkvilla, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are currently preparing for the climax action sequence. The report added that the climax would be shot in multiple locations including Mumbai. The scene will be shot over 20 days and the actors are following a strict routine to ensure that they can deliver their best as the cameras start rolling.
The report quoted a source who said, “The climax will be shot over a 20-day period. Hrithik has already gotten into the prep mode, following a certain health routine, as the prolonged action block demands him to be agile and powerful. He is putting in all the effort to look the part in the climax – from strength training to speed-based training, along with plyometric work. The training sessions are designed keeping in mind the kind of action he is required to do in the climax shoot. Hrithik is also training for the hand-to-hand combat.”
The report mentioned that the climax of War 2 would be shot in the first week of November. The movie will also feature a sword fight sequence in the beginning which will feature Roshan in a never-seen-before avatar. The source continued, “While the plot keeps the essence of War intact, the sequel is a lot more intense, with raw action. The audience will be hooked on the screen right from Hrithik Roshan’s introduction with the sword fight sequence in the beginning.”
Starring Roshan and Jr NTR, War 2 is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie will mark Jr NTR’s debut in Bollywood. Earlier this week, a picture of Kiara Advani and Mukerji from the sets of the film went viral on social media. The film is slated to release in theatres during the Independence Day 2025 weekend.
