Mouli Ganguly is currently playing the role of Ira in the Hindi serial, Janani – AI Ki Kahani. The actress recently opened up about playing the lead role along with her husband, actor Mazhar Sayed in the show after two decades. She calls it refreshing. The duo is playing the role of a scientist couple in the show. Talking about her previous work, Mouli Ganguly said, “In Kaahin Kissii Roz, we were not opposite each other, so this experience is completely new and exciting.” The show is airing on Danga TV. Mazhar and Mouli are playing a couple on screen that is expected to add new dynamism to their professional and personal lives. Mouli expressed her happiness to IANS and she is enjoying the time on sets with her husband. The chemistry between the two on and off-screen has added authenticity to their characters, making the show even more appealing to the audience.
Working with a life partner can be a unique experience, and for Mouli and Mazhar, it is nothing less than a joy. “It’s really relaxing because coming together, going home together, and getting to spend time together is so much fun. Otherwise, we usually share each other’s set stories. This time, it’s the same story,” she said in an interview.
Mouli Ganguly is known for her works in serials like Saaksshi, Aathvaan Vachhan and Laagi Tujhse Lagan. She was also seen in films like Kissebaaz, Raincoat, 68 Pages and others.
The couple appeared in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 4. It showed their strong partnership and chemistry. Mazhar and Mouli got married in the year 2010.
