Television actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Panjabi celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Shalabh Dang and the actress is quite happy with her decision to marry for the second time. In a recent interview to The Times of India, the actress opened up about her first marriage with Bunty Negi that lasted for ten years from 2003 to 2013. Kamya said that it was not difficult for her to move on when her first marriage ended and that she has no qualms in admitting that.
She further said that she gave ten years of her life to Bunty and she tried everything to save it. The actress told the publication that she did not want to separate from Bunty and that is why she continued to tolerate a lot of disappointments in the relationship.
Sharing her feelings during her first marriage, Kamya said that she used to return from award functions and look in the mirror and wonder if she was the same person who was being cheered loudly for her accomplishment just a few minutes back. Kamya said that she was very unhappy and used to feel very weak and helpless during that time. And even when she tried to give her marriage another shot, because she did not want to have any regrets of not trying to the fullest, but it did not work. Kamya also has a daughter from her first marriage, Aara.
However, the actress is in a much happier place now with her second husband Shalabh Dang who works in the medical industry. The couple is in a long distance relationship as Shalabh works in Delhi while Kamya lives in Mumbai.

In an Instagram post last month, Kamya dedicated a special post to her husband, marking their first wedding anniversary. Kamya expressed her love for Shalabh and wrote that he makes her strong, confident, happy, secure.
