Karan Johar REVEALS Going Through A 'Purple Patch'; Drops Wholesome Family Pics With Yash, Roohi Johar,

Karan Johar welcomed his twins – Yash and Roohi Johar – via surrogacy in 2017 and co-parents them with his mother, Hiroo Johar. Earlier this week, the filmmaker hosted a grand birthday party for his twins on Wednesday and the who’s who from Bollywood arrived at the party with their children. While he had shared some lovely pictures and videos from the party, Karan Johar has now posted a fresh bunch of snaps and it’s too wholesome to miss.

On Sunday, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and dropped adorable pictures with his kids Yash and Roohi as well as his mother Hiroo Johar. In these snaps, the whole family can be seen posing together for the shutterbugs, while being surrounded by balloons with different purple, pink, pastel and violet shades. Not only that, Karan Johar’s outfit matched with his kids and that made the carousel even more wholesome.

He wrote the caption, “Going through a purple patch!!!! My world ….The idea of balloons are more than a decoration to me… they have always represented joy and celebration and a magical feeling of happiness ….My first film is full of them … and even now my inner child comes alive when I have them around …Am so happy to have passed on my joy of balloons to my twins … who overreact as much to them as I do….Thank you @ekalakhani for always dressing the family and to @sheldon.santos for being there to capture our moments … and the biggest hug to my children’s favourite and all our silent pillar @len5bm ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

On the twins’ birthday on Wednesday, Karan took to Instagram to share photos from the birthday bash and a heartwarming note. He wrote, “Happiest birthday to the brightest sunshines (x2) of my life! My life is forever changed, for the best with you two coming into it with your goofy and adorable laughs, unadulterated sass towards ME and of course – an abundance of love to give to the world! Never change…grow up but never change! And thank you to my mom, who is forever the strength of our family…and being a mother figure to Yash & Roohi! Love you forever mom.” The kids can be seen posing with dad Karan and grandmom Hiroo in the photos. Yash can be seen wearing a neckpiece that reads “cool” a la Rahul’s necklace from Karan’s film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain.

Last year, Karan had shared a touching letter about parenting. He had posted a few pictures with his children and written, “Being a parent is not an emotion… It’s an explosion of every emotion you may have experienced. Words are not the best way to describe the feeling of being a parent. If only cuddles had a language of their own.”

On the work front, Karan recently returned with a new season of his chat show, Koffee With Karan. He also made his directorial comeback last year with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Karan is now helming an action thriller titled Yodha with Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani.
