Kriti Sanon’s Journey
Before making it to the big screens, Kriti worked as a model and appeared in several TV commercials for brands like Close Up, Samsung, Bata, Amul and others.
She began her acting career with the Telugu language action thriller film 1: Nenokkadine, in which she was paired opposite South superstar Mahesh Babu.
In the same year itself, Kriti made her Bollywood debut with the action drama film Heropanti alongside Tiger Shroff. Helmed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film was a big hit and the actress garnered appreciation for her performance. Kriti won the Filmfare Best Debut Actress award for her performance in Heropanti.
The following year, she appeared in another Telugu film Dohchay, co-starring Naga Chaitanya.
Her career graph shot up after she appeared in director Rohit Shetty’s romantic action film Dilwale, alongside superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan. The film was a huge success.
