A video of Naga Chaitanya watching his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu on screen has caught everyone’s attention. The Telugu actor attended the special release of his and Samantha’s film Manam. He joined fans to watch the film, as it re-released in May, on the occasion of the film’s 10th anniversary. A Reddit user revisited the many clips that surfaced from the screening and noticed Chaitanya’s reaction when his love-making scene with Samantha played on screen.
As first, it seemed that Chay blushed as the song Kanulanu Thaake played out. However, many also noticed that he was trying to calm down fans as they turned towards him when the scene played on the big screen. He urged them to sit while his scenes with Samantha played out. Watch the video below:

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017 after 7 years of dating. They first met on the sets of their film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2009. They decided to separate from each other in October 2021 during their fourth year of marriage. Last year, Chaitanya confirmed that their divorce has come through and they are legally single.
Earlier this year, Samantha and Chaitanya came under one roof for an event. While Samantha joined Varun Dhawan to announce Citadel: Honey Bunny. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya was present at the event for the success of his recent web series Dhootha. A source told BollywoodLife that the decision to not cross paths was concious for the former couple doesn’t want to spark reconciliation rumours. The report also claimed that Samantha ‘wants to keep no connection with her past.’
“Samantha will never talk about her past and she wants the chatter only around her professional life, Sam and Chay have both moved on, and they want their fans to get over them as well and not hope for any reconciliation,” the insider said.
