Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna paid a surprise visit to the sets of Sunny Deol’s next project, tentatively named SDGM in Hyderabad. Sunny Deol’s upcoming film is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Glimpses of Balakrishna’s visit were shared by the director with a special note. Fans were excited to see both superstars in one frame and requested Gopichand Malineni to make a film with them together. Along with Sunny Deol, SDGM also stars Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar, Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher.
The film’s director, Gopichand Malineni, posted pictures of Sunny and Balakrishna shaking hands and interacting with each other. In the caption, he wrote, “A MASSive moment…GOD OF MASSES Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu met ACTION SUPERSTAR Sunny Deol.”
Soon after the pictures surfaced, fans expressed their excitement over the power-packed encounter. A user wrote, “Gopichand Garu please bring both of them in a movie together. We are sure you are the only director who can do this and if it happens then history will be created.”
Many also requested the director to release the teaser for SDGM. A fan wrote, “SDGm ka teaser jaldi laao Sunny Deol Saab ko dekhna hai.” (“Please release the trailer of DSGM soon, we are eager to see Sunny Deol”.)
Apart from SDGM, Sunny Deol is also expected to lead the standalone film Hanuman as per recent reports. While Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has created a lot of buzz, the latest reports suggest that it is being developed as a trilogy and the second film would be centred around Hanuman.
Sunny Deol will also be seen in the much-anticipated sequel Border 2 which is set to be directed by Anurag Singh. Apart from Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh will also be seen in the film.
Nandamuri Balakrishna has often collaborated with Gopichand Malineni. Their previous venture, Veera Simha Reddy – released in 2023 – was a hit at the box office. Apart from Balakrishna, the film also starred Shruti Haasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, collecting Rs 134 crore worldwide.
