One of the critically acclaimed Malayalam actresses, Nazriya Nazim is all set to grace the silver screens after her two years hiatus. The star along with Basil Joseph is gearing up for their upcoming film Sookshma Darshini, directed by the Nonsense director, MC Jithin. On May 29, the makers announced the film and now it’s a wrap-up for the cast and crew. The lead actress shared a video of the team cutting a cake as the shoot has finally come to an end.
Nazriya Nazim shared a behind-the-scenes video of the lead actors and the other cast and crew engaging in a playful banter. It also shows the camaraderie they shared on the sets and how they all celebrated the last day of the shoot by cutting a huge cake. The clip begins with the lead actors holding a clap-board on which it is written, “Pack Up.” The caption read, “Sookshma Darshini, where Basil and Nazriya unite; Shooting completed. Basil Joseph and Nazriya Naseem will be seen as central characters. Sookshma Darshini is a movie directed by Jithin.”
Nazriya Nazim fans were ecstatic. A user commented, “Whoa after a long break as heroine.” Another commented, “This is a much-awaited combo.” One added, “Blockbuster incoming All the best.” A comment read, “Congrats Mr. Director MC Jithin and team.”
Speaking of the film, the makers had previously released a cartoon-like poster from the film, featuring the enlarged eyes of the lead stars looking through a magnifying glass. While the plot of the film has been successfully kept under wraps, fans are curious to see the chemistry between the fresh pair on the big screen. Apart from Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim, Sooksha Darshini also stars Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merrin Philip, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Kottayam Ramesh, Gopan Mangat, Manohari Joy and Mirza Fathia in the prominent roles. The film is jointly written by MC Jithin and Athul Ramachandran. The film is backed by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and A V Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.
