New Zach Braff Comedy Coming to ABC

Zach Braff has landed a new role as the star of upcoming comedy Start Up.

As well as taking on the lead part in the single-camera show, the actor will direct alongside executive producer Matt Tarses, who previously worked with Braff on the hospital comedy Scrubs, Deadline reports.

Based on a podcast of the same name by Alex Blumberg, Start Up tells the tale of a married family man who decides to launch his own business.

The Sony TV / Davis Entertainment project will be aired on the network ABC.
